Wilton Waste Processing Facility Cavan
Laurence Mechanical installed a specialist sprinkler system at Wilton Waste’s new state-of-the-art waste processing plant. The system uses infrared cameras to detect flame and activates automatically on sight of fire, with sprinkler coverage installed to the individual processing bays and along the transport belts.
Water for the system is harvested and stored in underground tanks, then pumped to large overground tanks so a full supply is always ready when required — a self-sufficient fire protection solution for a high-risk environment.
