Unilin Insulation UK
Laurence Mechanical delivered the complete mechanical services package for Unilin Insulation’s new polyurethane plant in Ross-on-Wye, UK. The works comprised a new LPHW system, compressed air system, water services throughout, and a ventilation system to the conveyor room engineered to maintain a constant 90 degrees so the product can be manufactured correctly.
The installation also included eight large MDI tanks and four poly tanks storing the raw materials, piped to the conveyor room through specialist pumping stations where they are mixed to form the product. The entire plant is managed by a specialised BMS system.
