Restoration of Cavan Cathedral
Laurence Mechanical completed the installation of a new LPHW heating system at the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim in Cavan. The works included a new boiler house with boilers, pumps, and pipework, a new underground gas line brought in from 80 metres away, trench heating throughout all areas, and a new BMS controlling the entire system. New pipework was routed through the existing tunnels to serve the trench heating.
This was a high-profile project delivered within a short timeframe and to a listed building, demanding careful planning and sensitive workmanship at every stage.
